Our vision in a constantly growing IT market is to develop products, which will become your future dreams. Our extensive product portfolio, which we distribute Europe-wide, combines all internal and external solutions for the application of mass storage, for industrial and professional applications as well as for the private sphere, too. Through our all along increasing know-how, good results in research and development and our good cooperation with our long-time customers we could achieve a dynamic growth.
History
RaidSonic Technology GmbH was founded in Hamburg 1999. To realize our future visions and the rising requirements, RaidSonic moved to Ahrensburg (20 min. away from Hamburg) in May 2004.The capacity of our new warehouse, our permanent improving logistic and the expanded technical support lets us look into the future very optimistically.
Products
As a manufacturer we have direct influence on product design concerning quality, functionality and equipment. We constantly use high quality components and because of this decisive reason our products have gained a strong position in the upper market segment.
Brands
ICY BOX is our popular brand with a huge clientele for storage solutions, media players and multimedia accessories. ICY BOX, our own brand, has been around since 2003. We are in charge of development, manufacturing, marketing and distribution.
We build especially formidable and stressable solutions for customers in the field of commercial appliances meeting their special needs.
For the owners of modern mobile gadgets like iPhone, iPad and others ICY BOX offers useful accessories of highest quality.
RAIDON makes storage solution for private users as well as users in the SoHo area.
Bone means fun. We have their USB drives and cardreaders in the shapes of little figures and valuable accessories for iPod, iPhone, and iPad as well in our program.

The Power of Quality
RaidSonic was established 1999. The company since then has enjoyed a process of continuous development. Our product range as well as our workforce have grown steadlily.
In May 2004 we moved to a new location due to the company's growth. After huge success in Germany we started the expansion into the European markets.
Obviously one cannot separate the story of the company RaidSonic from its products and frome the development of single products towards a comprehensive product portfolio.
Leading Role
RaidSonic probably was the first company in Germany to recognize the emerging impact of changeable internal and external HDDs. Already in our first years we gained a well respected position in the consumer market as well as in the trade with the import of enclosures for external HDDs and mobile racks for HDDs.
On this foundation we were able to launch our own brand ICY BOX a few years later.The ICY BOX IB-350, an enclosure for an external 3.5" HDD was the brand's trail blazer.
Quality in Depth and Width
Following the guideline "all around the HDD" we have broadened the ICY BOX offering step by step. Often with head turning novelties. In keywords: external enclosures for 2.5" HDDs, external hardware RAID systems, with the ICY BOX NAS (storage attached server/network server) we have accomplished our good reputation in this area.
Only shortly after that we let our know.how work for network-multi media players for enthusiasts of digitally stored movies and music.
Eventually we recognized the chances of the super fast USB 3.0 connections as the coming standard early and became worldwide pioneers offering the first HDD enclosures with USB 3.0.
