IB-318StU3-B is also working through an USB 3.0 cable or
USB 2.0 cable with computer/notebook with USB 2.0/1.1
interfaces.
You can upgrade your computer/notebook with
an USB 3.0 PCI-card (eg ICY BOX IB-AC604/605).
USB 3.0 has a 10 times higher bandwidth as USB 2.0
(5 Gbit / s to 480 Mbit/s) and theoretically 10 times higher
transfer rate. In practice, the transfer rate is limited by the
slower SATA interface of the hard drive (3 Gbit/s).
