Home Network with the Advantage of Higher Speed

The higher speed of this Network Attached Server (NAS) results from its RTOS, a Real-Time Operating System. It processes about twice as fast as a usual Linux OS. The advantage: data are quicker at hand notwithstanding if you are assessing the NAS from your PC via gigabit LAN or if you are playing a movie on your TV via a console like Xbox 360 or PS3.

PS. Even if you don’t use the ICY BOX as a NAS but as an external enclosure for HDD it provides the advantage of higher speed. It has a USB 3.0 interface.
